Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line pan with parchment.
- Create 1 tbsp Parmesan "molds" on the paper.
- Place onion rings on the cheese.
- Top with another 1 tbsp of Parmesan and press down.
- Season with salt, garlic, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Bake 15–20 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Cool for 10–15 minutes before removing from the pan.
Notes
1. Cooling is mandatory: The rings achieve their signature "snap" only after resting for 10-15 minutes. 2. Parchment only: Do not use foil; the cheese will fuse to it. 3. Cheese choice: Shredded Parmesan or Romano works best for the "lacy" texture.
