Ingredients
  

  • 2 large white onions sliced
  • 2 cups shredded parmesan cheese
  • Spices: Salt garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Spoon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line pan with parchment.
  2. Create 1 tbsp Parmesan "molds" on the paper.
  3. Place onion rings on the cheese.
  4. Top with another 1 tbsp of Parmesan and press down.
  5. Season with salt, garlic, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Bake 15–20 minutes until golden and crisp.
  7. Cool for 10–15 minutes before removing from the pan.

Notes

1. Cooling is mandatory: The rings achieve their signature "snap" only after resting for 10-15 minutes. 2. Parchment only: Do not use foil; the cheese will fuse to it. 3. Cheese choice: Shredded Parmesan or Romano works best for the "lacy" texture.
