Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 10.5 ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 12 ounce can corn, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar divided
  • 32 ounces frozen tater tots
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Chopped scallions for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and move the rack to the top third.
  2. Brown ground beef and onions in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in sour cream, condensed soup, corn, and 1/2 cup of cheese until heated through.
  5. Spread the mixture into a 9x13 casserole dish.
  6. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and top with an even layer of tater tots.
  7. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes until tots are browned and cheese is bubbling.
  8. Garnish with scallions and serve warm.
