Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or any milk you like
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
Optional Additions
  • 1-2 teaspoons honey if you want it sweeter
  • 2-3 pieces ice cubes to thicken, if desired
  • to taste crushed graham cracker or shortbread for topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add the strawberries, vanilla protein powder, almond milk, and Greek yogurt to a blender.
  2. If desired, add ice cubes to thicken the smoothie.
  3. Blend all ingredients for less than a minute until smooth.
  4. Pour into a glass and sprinkle with crushed graham cracker or shortbread if using.

  1. Serve immediately and enjoy your strawberry shortcake protein smoothie!

Notes

You can make this smoothie ahead of time and store it in a sealed jar in the fridge. Let it sit for a minute before drinking for better flavor. If too thick, add more liquid to achieve desired consistency.
