Preparation
- Chill strawberries in the refrigerator to make cutting easier.
- Slice the tops off the strawberries to create a flat base.
- Place a dollop of whipped cream on top of each strawberry to create a 'hat'.
- Use another dollop of whipped cream as the 'body' and place a strawberry upside down on top with its tip pointed down.
- Use mini chocolate chips to create eyes.
- Dust with powdered sugar for a snow-like effect, if desired.
Notes
These treats can be prepared a few hours ahead of serving but should be kept cool to prevent the cream from drooping. Serve on a white plate or festive tray for maximum presentation.
