Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour Plus more for dusting
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1 cup milk Warm, about 110°F
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 large eggs Room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Filling
  • 1 cup strawberry jam Thick consistency preferred
  • 8 ounces cream cheese Softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Frosting
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk For drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare Dough
  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix in melted butter, eggs, and salt. Gradually add in flour, blending to form a soft dough.
  3. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Let it rise in a greased bowl, covered, for about 1 hour or until doubled.
Make Filling
  1. In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese with sugar and cinnamon until smooth.
Assemble Rolls
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough, then layer with strawberry jam.
  4. Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 equal pieces. Place in a greased baking dish.
  5. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake and Frost
  1. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the frosting. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients and don't skip the frosty topping! If using different fruits, maintain the filling proportions.
