Ingredients
  

Pasta and Seasoning
  • 12 oz Pasta (spaghetti or your choice) Cook a minute less than package instructions.
  • 1 cup Pasta water Reserve for sauce.
Seafood
  • 1 lb Mixed seafood (shrimp, clams, mussels) Frozen seafood works well. Pat dry before cooking.
Sauce Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil Use generously for glossy noodles.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Add flavor to the sauce.
  • 1 cup White wine Optional for sauce depth.
  • 1 lemon Juice of 1 lemon Add at the end for brightness.
  • 1/2 cup Fresh herbs (parsley or basil) For finishing touch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions, but reduce cooking time by 1 minute. Reserve cup of pasta water.
  2. While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. If using, pour in white wine and let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
Cooking Seafood
  1. Add the seafood to the skillet and cook until just done, about 3-5 minutes. Avoid overcooking.
  2. Mix in cooked pasta, adding reserved pasta water to achieve desired sauce consistency.
  3. Finish with lemon juice and fresh herbs. Toss well to combine and serve immediately.

Notes

For variations, consider using different seafood, gluten-free pasta, or adding vegetables like spinach or asparagus. You can serve the sauce over zucchini noodles for a fresh twist.
