Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces ripe peaches Use juicy and ripe peaches for the best flavor.
  • 3 pieces big lemons Roll on the counter before squeezing for more juice.
  • 1/2 cup sugar Adjust according to your taste; can substitute with honey or agave.
  • 4 cups water Divided between syrup and thinning lemonade.

Method

Preparation
  1. Chop up the ripe peaches and place them in a saucepot with sugar and just enough water to keep it from sticking.
  2. Heat the mixture until the peaches break down and the aroma is peachy.
  3. Let the peach mixture cool down, then strain it through a fine mesh strainer to keep the syrup.
  4. Juice the lemons and stir the juice into the peach syrup.
  5. Add cold water to thin the lemonade and serve over ice.

Notes

Chill the lemonade before serving for a refreshing taste. Serve with crushed ice and garnishes like a sprig of mint or a peach slice for an added summer vibe.
