  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded) Let cheese reach room temperature before using.
  • 1 cup pizza sauce Use a little to avoid sogginess.
  • 1 each pizza crust Homemade or pre-made.
  • to taste sharp onions or grilled red peppers Bold toppings add flavor.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Season the beef while cooking.
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika Add for extra flavor.
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce Add near the end of cooking.
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning Optional for extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to the temperature recommended for your pizza crust.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it into smaller pieces.
  3. Drain excess fat but keep a little for moisture.
  4. Season the beef with garlic powder, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce as it cooks.
  5. Once cooked, set the beef aside to cool slightly.
Assembling and Baking
  1. Roll out or place your pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  2. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the crust.
  3. Evenly distribute the cooked ground beef on top of the sauce.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the beef.
  5. Add any additional toppings, like onions or peppers.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven according to crust instructions, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes
