Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef Use lean ground beef for a lighter option.
  • 4 cups broccoli florets No need to chop them prettily.
Sauce Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Tamari can be used for a gluten-free option.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Optional for flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon honey Can be omitted or replaced with another sweetener.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a wide skillet, brown the ground beef until it's crumbly; drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped broccoli florets to the skillet and cook until tender.
  3. While the beef and broccoli are cooking, whisk together soy sauce, minced garlic, sesame oil, and honey in a bowl.
  4. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli; let it simmer for 6 minutes.

Notes

For added crunch, include water chestnuts or bell peppers. Enjoy leftovers for lunch as it reheats well.
