  • 1 bunch Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish
Seasonings
  • to taste Sea salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • optional Smoked paprika For extra flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Chop the potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
  3. Add the potatoes to the skillet and allow them to cook, stirring occasionally, until they start to brown.
Cooking
  1. While potatoes are cooking, cut the steak into cubes.
  2. When the potatoes are almost done, push them to one side of the skillet and add the steak cubes to the other side.
  3. Season both the potatoes and steak with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
  4. Add butter to the skillet and gently toss everything together.
  5. Let the steak sear without touching for a few minutes until browned.
  6. Stir everything together after a few minutes to coat with butter and garlic.
  7. Once cooked to your liking, sprinkle chopped parsley over the dish and serve.

Notes

Use a large pan for better crisping and avoid steaming the potatoes. You can substitute ribeye for a richer flavor or chicken breast for a lighter option. Add lemon juice or extra herbs as desired.
