Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water or unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 large banana sliced
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup optional
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup assorted nuts or seeds walnuts, almonds, chia

Method
 

  1. Bring the water or almond milk to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Stir in the rolled oats and reduce heat to low.
  3. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until the liquid is absorbed and oats are tender.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the sliced banana, cinnamon, and optional sweetener.
  5. Divide into bowls and top with assorted nuts or seeds.
  6. Serve warm.
