Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets 6 oz each
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley and lemon wedges

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Paper Towels
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tongs
  • Meat Thermometer

Method

  1. Pat salmon dry and mix oil with all dry spices to create a rub.
  2. Apply rub to fillets and drizzle with lemon juice.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes.
  4. Place fillets skin-side down and air fry for 8-10 minutes.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

1. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure a crispy texture and prevent the fish from steaming. 2. Use an instant-read thermometer to pull the salmon at 145°F to maintain a moist and tender center. 3. Space the fillets at least an inch apart in the basket to allow the hot air to circulate and create that signature golden crust.
