  • 2 cups Coleslaw Balances the burger’s richness.
  • 2 cups Mixed salad Chopped veggies from the fridge.
  • 4 cups Ice tea or root beer For a refreshing drink.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your pan over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground meat with ranch dressing until combined, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Form into 4 patties, slightly thinner than desired as they will plump while cooking.
  4. If using, prepare bacon in the oven for even crispness.
  5. Shred cheese if necessary, and prepare all toppings.
Cooking
  1. Cook the patties in the hot pan for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  2. Add cheese on top during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  3. While patty cooks, prepare buns by toasting if desired.
Assembly
  1. Place the cooked patty on the bun.
  2. Layer with crispy bacon, green onions, and jalapeños if desired.
  3. Drizzle with additional ranch dressing before closing the burger.

Notes

Make ahead by forming patties a day in advance and store in the refrigerator. For a quick lunch, freeze the uncooked patties.
