  • 2 eggs (your style, I say go wild)
  • 2 slices bacon or sausage links
  • 2 slices bread OR 2 small pancakes Choose your base for the meal
  • to taste tablespoons Butter Be generous
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Fry bacon or sausage in a pan until it smells too good to resist.
  2. Set aside, cook eggs in the same pan to build flavor.
  3. Toast bread or whip together pancakes while the eggs are cooking.
  4. Assemble it all on a plate, scatter some butter everywhere, and season to taste.
  5. Add syrup if you’re feeling sweet, or hot sauce if you’re wild.

Notes

Serving Suggestions: Make it Southern by swapping toast for a warm biscuit. Go green with avocado or sautéed spinach. Spice it up with chili flakes or sriracha. Satisfy your sweet tooth by adding berries or honey to your pancakes.
