Ingredients
  

For the Rolls
  • 8 slices Soft white or wheat bread Squishy bread works best
  • 4 oz Cream cheese Can substitute with Nutella or jam
  • 2 large Eggs For the egg bath
  • 1 splash Milk Used in the egg mixture
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon For dunking and sprinkling
  • 2 tbsp Butter For frying
For Cinnamon Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Granulated sugar For sprinkling
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon To mix with sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Flatten each slice of bread using a rolling pin or a clean bottle.
  2. Spread a desired filling (cream cheese, Nutella, or jam) onto each slice.
  3. Roll the bread slices up tightly and secure the filling inside.
Cooking
  1. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and cinnamon.
  2. Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, ensuring not to over-soak.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
  4. Cook roll-ups in the skillet until golden brown on all sides.
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar before serving.

Notes

These rolls can be prepped the night before and cooked fresh in the morning. They can be stored in the fridge for up to two days. To reheat, use a skillet or toaster oven for a crispy texture.
