  • 4 cups shredded rotisserie chicken Using rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 2 cups jarred marinara sauce Any favorite brand will work.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese For a gooey texture.
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese For best flavor, don't skimp!
  • 1 cup buttery panko bread crumbs Add for a crunchy topping.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herbs Optional, add for extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Chop the rotisserie chicken into bite-sized pieces and place it in a baking dish.
  3. Pour the marinara sauce over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
  4. Layer the shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese on top of the marinara sauce.
  5. Sprinkle the buttery panko bread crumbs evenly over the cheese layer.
  6. Optionally, sprinkle Italian herbs on top for added flavor.
Baking
  1. Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown on top.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving to avoid cheese burns.

Notes

Add extra noodles for a heartier meal and remember that it's great for leftovers! Covers well for freezing and reheating.
