Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Chop the rotisserie chicken and place it in a baking dish.
- Pour the jarred marinara sauce over the chicken, mixing to combine.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top of the sauce, ensuring it's well-covered.
- Evenly distribute the buttery panko or crushed croutons on top.
- If desired, add a sprinkle of Italian herbs over the top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a crispier topping, you can broil for another 2 minutes at the end of baking. Pair it with a green vegetable or salad for a complete meal. Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
