Method

Preparing the Beef

Preparing the Gravy
  1. After the beef is cooked, remove it and let it rest.
  2. In the same pot, use the drippings to make the gravy by adding flour and whisking until thickened.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce if using.
Assembling the Dish

  2. Top the beef with a scoop of mashed potatoes.
  3. Drown the entire dish in gravy.
  4. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For a more gourmet experience, toast the bread slightly before serving. You can also add shredded cheese over the mashed potatoes for extra richness. Leftover mashed potatoes, deli-sliced roast beef, and jarred gravy are perfect substitutes for a quicker meal.
